Daniyal Alam is the Founder & CEO of DanixSoft, a Lahore-based product-engineering studio. He started as a junior developer on a ₨25,000 salary, worked two jobs while upskilling across the full stack, and turned the freelance work that grew out of it into DanixSoft — now a team of 15+ engineers that has delivered 80+ projects for 50+ clients.
A ₨25,000 first salary
Started as a junior developer on ₨25,000 a month — ticket-driven frontend fixes and CRUD work, and a long list of things still to learn.
Two jobs, one learning curve
Ran two real commitments at once — a day job plus freelance clients who needed React Native apps, Python automation and full-stack builds.
Freelance work outgrew one person
Started turning down projects for lack of hours, not skill. The question changed from “how do I do more work?” to “how do I build something that can?”
DanixSoft
Turned that freelance operation into a studio in Lahore — learning to hire, scope and keep quality high without writing every line personally.

Today: a team of 15+ engineers that has delivered 80+ projects for 50+ clients across SaaS, AI, e-commerce, mobile and enterprise.

Ship working software early
Two-week sprints that end in a demo you can click, not a status report. Scope the smallest thing that proves value, then grow it.
Production is part of the feature
Tests, CI/CD, monitoring and security go in from the first sprint — not bolted on before launch.
AI where it earns its keep
LLMs, RAG and automation are used to remove real work — lead qualification, content generation, document handling — with evals and cost guardrails.
Senior judgement, founder-led
